Get Ready to Rumble: Monster Story Anthology
Size limit: 2000 words min to 5,000 words max
Editor: Rob WalterWe are looking for Monster stories. The kind where you groan, love and even make fun of at times.
What we want:
Think of Jaws, Alligator and movies like that. Sharks, Octopuses, insects.
We want monsters either attacking each other or attacking people.
We want original stories, be creative.
What we don't want:
No Erotica, Romance.
No repeat of stories already done. If we see the same thing as Jaws, we will delete it.
No zombies, vampires or werewolves. We are not looking for that.
No reprints.
Specific guidelines:
Times New Romans font 12
If you are using italics make sure the words are in italics.
Indent before each start of paragraph.
No spaces between paragraphs.
Word Limit: 2,000 to 5,000 Max. We are being strict on those word counts.
Please include a short bio of 200 words in the cover letter.
Please no hotmail accounts.
We accept RTF for submissions only.
If these guidelines are not met, there is a possibility of deletion of submission without story being read.
Payment:
Free PDF copy when published.
Upon submitting:
you agree to allow us to edit the story for any punctuation or grammar errors if your story is selected.
If content of the story itself we think needs to be changed, the editor will contact you with permission before moving forward with those type of edits.
That you have rights to your story, but allow us to publish it for this anthology and market as we see fit.
That after publication you may submit it elsewhere for publication.
All edits will be in American English.
